Behind Exploration
Explora is advocated by a strong management team, led by Md. Shafi- Ul-Alam, a former Deputy Commissioner and Commercial & Economic Minister at the Bangladesh Embassy in Spain, as well as an Additional Secretary and the core governance specialist. Over & above that, the advisory board is chaired by Mr. Ali Imam Majumder, a former Cabinet Secretary of GoB.
Furthermore, Explora has a team of over 50 consultants from diverse sectors who work on various projects. This team of experts brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, ensuring that we are well- equipped to provide top-notch services to its clients.
We Execute Ideas from Start to Finish
At the apex level of BCS, Mr. Majumder worked as the Cabinet Secretary, Principal Secretary, Member of Planning Commission and Secretary, to the Govt. of Bangladesh. He worked also as Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet & Cox's Bazar, Chairman of Sonali Bank, Bangladesh Biman & Trustee Board member of TIB, Bangladesh. Currently serving as Chairman of MIDAS Financing Ltd. Since inception, he is guiding Explora's management & operation as its Chief Advisor.
Mr. Farooqui, a seasoned rural & urban development expert and a pioneer in development consultancy, began his career under the mentorship of the legendary founding Chief Engineer of LGED, Engr. Q I Siddique. Over the course of his four decades professional journey, he has contributed to various sectors, including socioeconomic, M&E, community development, and leadership roles, culminating in his position as Country Director of international organization.
Mr. Alam is a civil servant (former Deputy Commissioner/ Commercial & Economic Minister, Bangladesh Embassy, Spain/ Addl. Secretary), Mr. Alam is at the core a public governance specialist. Having varied working experiences and expertise notably in areas of public administration, training (HRD), research and consultancy. Furthermore, he possesses extensive experience as a national consultant for various projects.
Mr. Turja is a business development professional working in various consulting companies for almost a decade. He has vast experience on proposal writing, networking, negotiation & process development. Despite having a business degree, he also pursued a Degree on Development Studies to understand this sector further.
Mr. Suhag is an experience HR professional, with a focus on administration such as office management, facilities management, and policy development. He managed different reputed organization with variety of HR functions, such as recruitment, training, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws.
Mr. Debashish holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and possesses extensive experience in the financial and accounting field. Before joining Explora Consultancy, he worked on various government projects and also gained valuable experience at a Japanese company. He is a humble, honest individual who pays great attention to detail.
